    The OpenDataBC Open Data Hackathon is an event for people of BC to get involved in open data and to inspire action to improve British Columbia open data and / or create new open data applications for the web and mobile devices. This event is the 8th of a series of monthly hackathons planned for 2011.

    OpenDataBC wants to provide a space for open data enthusiasts to meet, get questions answered, find collaborators for projects and build some great visualizations and apps!

    Open Data initiatives and hackathons are for developers AND other enthusiasts. We need the participation and contribution of people from all disciplines, including artists, writers, elected officials, advocates, architects, designers, social media mavens, thought leaders, librarians, mathematicians and citizens.

    Bring your laptop. Wireless internet and power provided!
